eXtra Device Port (XDP)*

A digital proprietary telephone can be connected to any single-line telephone, modem, cordless phone, fax machine, credit card verifier, answering machine, etc., without any additional equipment.

Benefit : You can double the extension capacity of the system without having to buy a new system. No special adaptors, no additional programming, and no costly rewiring are required! You can use both communication devices simultaneously. You can fax a document while talking on the telephone. You can have a phone conversation while transferring a data file from your PC to another PC. You can access the Internet by connecting a modem.

System Inter Connection (SIC)*

One KX-TD 1232 system has a maximum capacity of 12 CO lines and 32 extensions. However, this can be doubled to a 24X64 system, and up to 128 extensions with the XDP features, simply by coupling two KX-TD 1232 system together.

Benefit : You can double the size of your Digital Super Hybrid System without upgrading to an entirely different system.

Uniform Call distribution (UCD) with Message*

For handling many incoming calls quickly and efficiently, this feature allows incoming CO calls to be distributed uniformly to a specific group of extensions. If all stations in the UCD group are bust, the system will play a message to the caller - acting like a receptionist. To ensure that callers are not kept waiting, a timetable can be established to determine when calls overflow to another extension or group of extensions. This is useful for a large office (travel agent, airline, etc.) where many calls arrive at one time. It is also useful when there is only one person to take calls. (queuing feature)

Benefit : Improves the company image. Important business calls will not be missed.

Direct Inward System Access (DISA)*

Outside callers can access any extension without an operator.

The Panasonic Voice Processing System is a optional system meant to be integrated with the keyphone system. It acts as a quick and user-friendly receptionist to prevent communication barriers with your customers and colleagues. It provides announcements, holiday / general greetings, menu services & mail boxes for individual users . Non stop , 24 hours a day , 7 days a week.
